It is our belief that the pain and suffering of emotional distress can damage the quality of an individual’s life, overall health, family and marriage. We also believe that with effective treatment an individual can regain, or attain for the first time, a vastly improved quality of life.
We start by understanding the nature of the problem. Every individual or family is unique and presents a different combination of symptoms, life circumstances, family histories, strengths and difficulties. By conducting a comprehensive evaluation, we better understand the entire person – their relationships, work life, lifestyle, values – for these factors influence mental health and psychological adjustment. The initial evaluation provides the clinician with the information needed to recommend the most appropriate treatment. We encourage patients to discuss any questions or concerns they may have about the recommended treatment.
We have therapists trained in: Cognitive Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Hypnosis, Medical Evaluation, DBT, Psychiatric and Neuropsychiatric Evaluations. We have a medical director with 20 + years’ experience to offer second opinions on individuals who are not getting better.
